This is a complex CATIA exercise based on a reference drawing. The goal is to recreate a toroidal helix using two different approaches and compare the result.

The reference drawing

This drawing comes from Too Tall Toby's User Submitted CAD Challenges. It was created and submitted by Koska.

Method 1: Direct Construction

The simple method uses standard CATIA construction tools to recreate the shape directly from the drawing.

Method 2: Fully Parametric Curve from Equation

The complex method uses CATIA's Curve from Equation feature to define the toroidal helix fully parametrically.
